⭐ Eventbrite Is the Payment Processor (Merchant of Record)

All ticket purchases are processed through Eventbrite, who serves as the Merchant of Record for every transaction worldwide.

Eventbrite:

  • stores and protects all payment information,

  • processes card transactions,

  • and oversees refund mechanisms connected to original payment methods.

MyCheekyDate never receives, stores, or controls guest payment card details. Any inquiry regarding the original form of payment must be directed to Eventbrite.

⭐ Our Credit & Flexibility Promise

Your ticket value always remains yours.

If plans change and you notify us prior to event start time, we will convert your booking into a flexible event credit. Credits:

  • never expire,

  • may be used for any future event,

  • can be applied to any age range,

  • are valid in any participating city,

  • and may be transferred once at no charge.

Your ticket value is never lost — only repositioned to a date that suits you.

⭐ Our Understanding, Human Approach to Reschedules

Life happens — and we believe dating should never feel punitive.

Where many companies charge reschedule fees or reduce ticket value, we do not. With simple advance notice, guests may:

  • move their ticket to another event, or

  • convert it to a never-expiring credit.

There are:

  • no penalties,

  • no lost value,

  • and no administrative fees.

⭐ If an Event Must Move From Its Original Date

Speed dating is participant-reliant. Every event requires balanced attendance to create meaningful rotations and fair match opportunities.

For this reason, if a number of participating guests need or request to reschedule, MyCheekyDate may proactively remove the original event date from the calendar and reposition guests into a future date — to protect event quality, comfort, and fairness.

This is not cancellation — it is rescheduling to ensure the event delivers the proper experience.

Guests always retain full ticket value and may choose:

  • the new proposed date, or

  • any future event date in any participating city or age group.

Your ticket never expires.

⭐ No-Show Outcomes

If a guest does not attend their event and does not reach out beforehand, the reservation cannot be reallocated, as a seat, materials, and staffing were dedicated to the event.

⭐ Age Alignment & Self-Selection

Age ranges exist to support comfort and match outcomes, but they are advisory only.

Guests are welcome to choose any event they feel suits them.
Attendance cannot be denied solely on age.

⭐ Force Majeure & Emergencies

If severe conditions arise — weather, travel disruption, venue shutdowns, or public emergencies — events may shift to a new date.

Guests always retain full event value and may select any future date that works for them.

⭐ Match Result Clarification

Tickets are for the hosted event experience itself — not guaranteed matches.
Match results depend entirely on mutual selection and guest choice, not on event structure alone.

Your event value remains intact regardless of outcome.

⭐ Conduct, Safety & Behavior Standards

MyCheekyDate maintains a less-than-zero tolerance standard for anything other than lovely, respectful behavior.

This applies to interactions involving:

  • fellow daters,

  • event hosts and ambassadors,

  • venue staff,

  • MyCheekyDate team members,

  • and support representatives.

Unacceptable conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • anger or aggressive tone,

  • misdirected frustration,

  • hostility,

  • insults,

  • intimidation,

  • harassment,

  • threats,

  • abusive language,

  • or behavior that disrupts the event environment.

We are a kindness-driven brand. Events are designed to be warm, welcoming, and safe.

If a guest behaves in a manner that is anything other than courteous and respectful, MyCheekyDate may — at its discretion — remove that guest from the event and future events without continuation or extension of credits.

This protects the environment and ensures a positive experience for every participant.

⭐ Ticket Value Retention (No Expiry)

Tickets and credits retain value until used. There is no expiration window.

Guests have complete freedom to choose a future date that works for them.
