PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY PURCHASING A TICKET, REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT, PARTICIPATING IN CURATED INTRODUCTIONS OR MATCHMAKING SERVICES, OR USING ANY MYCHEEKYDATE WEBSITE OR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

For purposes of this Agreement, "MyCheekyDate" includes MyCheekyDate, MyCheekyGayDate, MyCheekySocial, Curated Introductions, affiliated websites, brands, events, matchmaking services, and associated offerings.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing a ticket, attending an event, participating in Curated Introductions, or using any MyCheekyDate service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

MyCheekyDate reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and become effective upon posting.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to participate in any MyCheekyDate event or service.

By participating, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

  • The information you provide is accurate and truthful.

  • You will comply with all event guidelines, venue requirements, and this Agreement.

MyCheekyDate reserves the right to refuse service to any person at its sole discretion.

3. Events & Attendance

MyCheekyDate hosts social events designed to facilitate introductions between participants.

Attendance is voluntary and participation does not guarantee any specific outcome, including matches, friendships, relationships, business opportunities, or romantic connections.

Guests are responsible for arriving on time and following event instructions provided by hosts and staff.

Event age ranges are guidelines only and may vary.

Venue locations, schedules, hosts, formats, and event details may change from time to time.

4. Event Reschedules, Postponements & Cancellations

From time to time, events may be rescheduled, postponed, relocated, modified, or cancelled due to factors including but not limited to:

  • Weather

  • Venue issues

  • Attendance considerations

  • Operational needs

  • Staff availability

  • Safety concerns

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If an event is rescheduled, participants may:

  • Attend the new date;

  • Transfer to another available event; or

  • Request a refund.

If a participant's plans change, tickets remain valid and may be used toward a future event, subject to availability.

Tickets do not expire.

5. Ticketing, Payments & Refunds

Event ticket purchases are processed through Eventbrite or another authorized ticketing platform.

While third-party platforms process transactions, MyCheekyDate assists guests with ticket-related questions and refund requests.

Rescheduled Events

If an event is rescheduled and a participant cannot attend the new date, they may request a refund.

Participant Schedule Changes

If a participant chooses not to attend an event for personal reasons, tickets may generally be applied as non-expiring credit toward a future event.

Conduct-Related Removal

No refunds, credits, transfers, or compensation shall be provided to participants removed from events or services due to violations of this Agreement or the Code of Conduct.

6. Curated Introductions & Matchmaking Services

Curated Introductions and matchmaking services are designed to facilitate introductions based upon participant preferences, compatibility factors, and available candidates.

While MyCheekyDate makes good-faith efforts to create thoughtful introductions:

No Guaranteed Outcome

Mutual attraction, chemistry, compatibility, relationships, friendships, or romantic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Purchases reflect the time, effort, consultation, planning, administration, and introduction services provided—not any particular result.

Participation

Participants agree to:

  • Cooperate reasonably with the introduction process.

  • Provide accurate information.

  • Attend scheduled introductions when confirmed.

  • Treat all dates, participants, hosts, and staff respectfully.

Missed Introductions

Failure to attend a scheduled introduction or reserved event without notice may be considered fulfillment of that portion of the package due to preparation and coordination already performed.

Availability of Suitable Introductions

Introduction opportunities depend upon participant availability, preferences, location, timing, compatibility considerations, and the availability of suitable introductions within the MyCheekyDate community.

7. Code of Conduct & Participation Policy

Respectful Behaviour

All participants are expected to treat fellow guests, dates, hosts, venue staff, contractors, and MyCheekyDate personnel with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.

Participants agree to:

  • Respect personal boundaries.

  • Use respectful language.

  • Accept another participant's decision not to continue communication.

  • Follow host instructions.

  • Contribute positively to the experience of others.

Zero-Tolerance Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Harassment

  • Bullying

  • Intimidation

  • Threats

  • Verbal abuse

  • Discriminatory conduct

  • Unwanted physical contact

  • Physical aggression

  • Stalking behaviour

  • Continued unwanted contact

  • Disruptive behaviour

  • Retaliation against guests, hosts, or staff

  • Conduct causing another person to feel unsafe

MyCheekyDate maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding these behaviors.

Host & Staff Safety

The safety of hosts, staff, venue partners, contractors, and participants is paramount.

MyCheekyDate reserves the right to remove, suspend, or permanently ban any participant whose conduct causes another participant, host, contractor, venue partner, or staff member to feel unsafe, threatened, intimidated, harassed, or uncomfortable.

This includes conduct occurring:

  • At events

  • During introductions

  • Through email

  • Through text messages

  • Through telephone communications

  • Through social media

  • Through any communication relating to MyCheekyDate services

Any participant whose conduct causes a host, staff member, contractor, or venue partner to decline future involvement with that participant may be permanently removed from MyCheekyDate services.

Consequences

MyCheekyDate may take any action it deems appropriate, including:

  • Warnings

  • Event removal

  • Cancellation of introductions

  • Suspension

  • Package termination

  • Permanent bans

  • Referral to law enforcement where appropriate

MyCheekyDate reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a violation has occurred.

8. Suspension & Termination

MyCheekyDate may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to services at any time where a participant:

  • Violates these Terms.

  • Violates the Code of Conduct.

  • Provides false information.

  • Engages in unlawful conduct.

  • Threatens staff, hosts, participants, or venue partners.

  • Uses services in a manner harmful to MyCheekyDate or other participants.

Termination may occur without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect safety, operations, or other participants.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, trademarks, logos, event materials, text, graphics, software, photographs, videos, marketing materials, and related content remain the exclusive property of MyCheekyDate or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, or used without prior written permission.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

MyCheekyDate processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

By using our services, participants consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of information necessary to provide services and operate the business.

Where applicable, MyCheekyDate will comply with relevant privacy and data protection laws.

11. Electronic Communications

Participants consent to receive communications electronically, including:

  • Event updates

  • Schedule changes

  • Match notifications

  • Account notices

  • Service announcements

Participants may opt out of marketing communications while continuing to receive service-related communications.

12. Third-Party Platforms & Venues

MyCheekyDate may utilize third-party venues, ticketing providers, payment processors, software providers, and service partners.

MyCheekyDate is not responsible for the policies, actions, availability, or performance of third-party providers.

Participants remain subject to applicable venue rules and requirements.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

MyCheekyDate makes no warranty regarding:

  • Event attendance levels

  • Participant compatibility

  • Match success

  • Relationship outcomes

  • Website availability

  • Uninterrupted service

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyCheekyDate, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, hosts, and representatives shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Emotional distress claims

  • Lost profits

  • Lost opportunities

  • Relationship outcomes

  • Participant interactions

In no event shall MyCheekyDate's total liability exceed the amount paid by the participant for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyCheekyDate and its affiliates, employees, hosts, contractors, venue partners, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Violations of these Terms;

  • Participant conduct;

  • Misuse of services;

  • Violations of law;

  • Violations of third-party rights.

16. California Cancellation Notice

California subscribers may cancel any subscription subject to applicable California law before midnight of the third business day following subscription where such rights apply.

17. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, participants agree to first contact MyCheekyDate and attempt informal resolution for at least sixty (60) days.

18. Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or MyCheekyDate services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), except where prohibited by law.

Arbitration may be conducted by telephone, video conference, online submission, or written submissions unless otherwise required.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary injunctive relief where appropriate.

19. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

Exclusive venue for disputes not subject to arbitration shall be Los Angeles County, California.

Participants consent to personal jurisdiction in California for purposes of enforcing these Terms.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between MyCheekyDate and participants regarding the services described herein.
