A simple, transparent guide to how everything works — from refunds to reschedules to Eventbrite’s role as our payment partner.
This page exists to make our policies easy to understand, remove confusion, and give every guest a clear sense of what to expect before and after their event.
⭐ Why Eventbrite Handles Refunds
All tickets are purchased through Eventbrite, who acts as the Merchant of Record for every sale worldwide.
That means:
Eventbrite securely stores your card details
Eventbrite processes your payment
Eventbrite holds your ticket value
Eventbrite reviews and issues all monetary refunds
Because they are the payment processor, we cannot issue refunds directly, as we never have access to your payment information.
For any request involving your original payment, Eventbrite is the one who can assist.

⭐ Our Reschedule & Credit Philosophy
Life happens — and we get that.
If you can’t attend your scheduled event, simply email us and we will:
Move your ticket to another upcoming event, or
Issue you a ticket credit that never expires
There is no fee, no penalty, and no time limit.
You can use your credit for:
Any city
Any age range
Any partner brand (MyCheekyDate, DoRelish, MyCheekySocial, etc.)
Our goal is flexibility — without pressure and without loss.
⭐ If an Event Is Postponed
If an event is postponed, your ticket automatically remains valid.
You may choose to:
Attend on the new date,
orEmail us anytime to switch to a different event,
orRequest help directly from Eventbrite if you prefer a refund of your original purchase
We will always support the option that works best for you.
⭐ If an Event Is Cancelled
In the rare case of a full cancellation (not a postponement), Eventbrite issues refunds automatically to all ticket holders.
No action is needed from you.
Refunds are issued by Eventbrite to the original payment method.
⭐ If You Can No Longer Attend
Just email us at info@mycheekydate.com and we’ll happily:
Reschedule your ticket
Issue a non-expiring credit
Help you choose another event
We never penalize guests for having a change of plans.
⭐ Venue Updates or Changes
Very occasionally, a venue may change due to:
Renovations
Staffing issues
Private buy-outs
Unexpected closures
If this occurs, we:
Notify you immediately
Move the event to a comparable venue
Offer rescheduling if you prefer
Ensure no guest loses their ticket value
Your experience always comes first.

Every event includes:
A dedicated host
Warm, guided check-in
Our Smart-Card digital matching system
Personalized support throughout the evening
After the event, your matches are available the same evening, just after midnight.
⭐ Complimentary Events & Courtesy Credits
We proudly offer courtesy credits in cases where:
A guest experienced a legitimate issue
There were unexpected imbalances
Life circumstances prevented attendance
A mix-up occurred
These are offered at our discretion, always with kindness at the center of the decision.
If a guest is respectful, communicative, and lovely — we will always take care of them.
